A ordem Dórica tem como principais caracteristicas o friso que é constituido por triglífos e métopas,o frontão,tímpano e a sua coluna è como o tronco de uma árvore, sendo, junto ao capitel fina e larga junto ao estilóbato.Já a ordem Jónica,não tem frontão, o seu capitel é trabalhado(volutas),e é constituida por uma base.
